Information

1923 saw a move to modernise the 11.9 further, so much so that a new model was to be built called the 12/24. The basic framework was cut back so that the two main longerons were only about 9 in. apart and this allowed a more conventional body to be made separately and fixed later. The only change to the engine was to enclose the valve gear, but the braking system was changed so that there were four shoes in each brake drum at the rear and the transmission brake was dropped.

The next two years saw increasing numbers of extra models including a saloon. Next, front wheel brakes became an option and most customers ordered them.
